Small, high current, dual inductors by Coilmaster Electronics meet AEC-Q200 for automotive use and are certified to IATF16949. They are available from BEC Distribution.

Inductance range is 0.47μH – 1,000μH and rated current is up to 17.9A. The inductors are magnetically shielded and provide low DC, with low coupling of  K > 0.98, for minimal crosstalk between inductors, adds the company.

The robust inductors are 100% lead(Pb)-free and RoHS-compliant, making them suitable for parallel, series, dual inductor and transformer applications.

Coilmaster Electronics manufactures surface mount power  and high current shielded power inductors, chip inductors, common mode chokes and LAN magnetics.

BEC is a franchised electronic component distributor for major manufacturers including TOKO/Murata, Sumida, TDK, Coilcraft, Cooper, Molex, Bourns, Tyco, Vishay, Wurth and Panasonic. Its product offering includes inductors, common mode chokes, line filters, transformers, resistors, terminal blocks, RJ45 connectors and LAN magnetics.

Many manufacturers currently have lead times of 18-26 weeks, often with product allocation policies, reports BEC, but its alternatives are available on 5-7 weeks delivery (excluding public holidays). Many products are ex-stock, with a low minimum order quantity of 10 pieces for samples. The company says its policy of sourcing from different countries around the world ensures continuity of supply without compromising quality.
